Has any one been able to compile and use zeromq on iOS? Has anyone used any MQ type solutions with iOS?
Take a look at http://www.zeromq.org/bindings:objc, I did get this working some time ago and it was quite straightforward. I also put together a quick demo, which I will try and dig out and send to you.

I’ve used it with very good results over a LAN, but not over the public internet, so I’m not sure how well it would work in a high latency environment. However the zeroc ICE framework was designed with that in mind so I would expect that it should work.

L’ho usato con ottimi risultati su una LAN, ma non su Internet pubblico, quindi non sono sicuro di come sarebbe bene lavorare in un ambiente ad alta latenza. Tuttavia il quadro ICE zeroc è stato progettato con questo in mente, così mi aspetto che dovrebbe funzionare.
